The Blue Parrot has very good volume, I am in noisy envionments quite often and have never turned the volume up to max. Have a hard time being able to hear my phone, even with the volume maxed, unless I put it on speaker, which is not always a good thing. Had a motorola that did the samething that I traded in on the blue parrot. What phone are you pairing it with? I have one, paired with a HTC Desire and can't stand it for the crackling sound in my ear.

My wife tells me to put it on, if we happen to talk and I don't have it on, which is rare. It was on sale for 69.00, shoulda got several. I've got the, B250-XT, it's the over the head type, not the hang on your ear type, if that makes any sense ~:0. It took me two days to convince my wife that I WAS ACTUALLY working, not off sleeping under a tree ) Otherwise she will think your off fishing or something else that's quite. If you are planning on getting one of their noise canceling headsets, you better show it to your wife BEFORE you start using it.
